Pineapple Citrus Super Detox Green Smoothie Recipe

Freeze bananas that are very ripe, by peeling, breaking into pieces and placing in a baggie.  This way you never throw out another too-ripe banana AND you have them for your smoothies!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 organic cucumber, with peel
  • 1/2 cup fresh Italian parsley
  • 1 frozen banana in pieces
  • 1 cup pineapple, cubed
  • 1 orange, peeled and de-seeded
  • 2 cups organic kale (or dandelion greens)
  • 8 ounces almond milk

Directions

Start by adding the liquid to your blender, followed by the soft fruit. Add the greens to your blender last. Blend on high for 30 seconds or until the smoothie is creamy.
